Grunge
...this is where you can look trough the looking glass.
Have to say there was excitement, though I couldn't stop thinking about what I had to/should be doing(working in my almost-no-one-really-gives-a-damn-projects I mean) and it was quite troubling for me to deal with that. A good thing was that a week ago the band found someone that MAY be the one we needed to shape our sound to come. We'll see :)
But.. about stuff, I couldn't work much, and I really didnt want to anyway - because everything went so wrong (from stress to oversized files not working, sigh...) - that the Aniboom's deal went out pretty bad. So, nothing there.
But, as I wrote I'd post it here so there was something to see, here it is
(I'll try to quickly post something better so anyone won't get tooooo turned off..)
These days 've been doing NOTHING ELSE but dragging myself through the process of doing my best for this one contest...

. Arrive from work, do more work
. Sleep -3 hours than usual and wake 4 job is calling
. bla, bla, bla, bla, bla...
One thing I can say: IT'S NOT EASY!
Other thing.
(at least you'll have some fairly-nice motion comic to entertain you)
..well, back to work. Have one more week to go.
Nowadays, sometimes, a blink of that magic passes (accidentaly) to this side.
"...That is your privilege."
Like being in the shoes of other just for a blink of an eye.

All we can do is to move on and learn from mistakes. Well, at least learn from those that don't repeat so much. When it does... well, you just know something's wrong. And when something's wrong you got to fix it, because when one doesn't it will come back to haunt you. Again.. and again... and again... and again... 'CTRL+Z'
(pfff...)
Crazy moon's after ya, & crazy moon's gonna eat ya...
No way.
Just waiting for an extra animal to bark
I've been thinking about that, because some 'nu metal nostalgia' seems to be haunting me these days. Lol, I'm listening to Slaves on Dope, and I've got brand new Crossbreed album ready for me to listen to it, so, I gess I'm pretty busted, lol.
All in all, what I intent to write is that, I've been thinking about all this rollercoaster effect. Meaning: Some of these bands I'm talking about - Nothingface, Professional murder music, 40 below summer, Nonpoint, Alien ant farm, the list goes on.. - got to be over the top, big labels, tours and all, 10 years ago, then we just stoped reading/hearing about 'em.
And the first question might be: What happened?
Well, the question I'm putting myself is that one, but in another terms. Sure we all know the interest and trending factors justify the suffocation of all of the info about them, but then again, I ask: What happened to those bands? Did they continued to persue their musical career, or simply call it quits?
I've been doing some investigation and I find it to be 50/50.
As sorry as I am to get to know, Haste has call it quits, but from what I can tell Professional murder music have never give up, and Finch are together again.
I'm not, obviously, talking strictly about one genre, but about bands and artists that do, or do not refuse to quit just because they're not the next big scene anymore, or didn't even get to reach that point in the first time.
About some, like PMM, I found they aren't in a notorious label anymore and therefore, survive with the same strenght as an "amateur" band that fights with all the guts it has. We have to bound to this kind of strenght to fall so deep and still, have the guts to keep going on. It is also a great proof of passion for what they do.
Why? Because they hardly will have the same oportunity of exposure anytime soon - trend factor maby - and have no serious money to gain from what they do nowadays. Still, they keep doing it.
So, what I ask is this: Would you have this kind of strenght if it were you? It's kind of easier when you don't have to drag others from out of the quicksand along with you(do remember).
This is a new drawing I've been doing for this actual project of a comic book of mine. This character would be designated as non-important, but I found it cool all the same, so I decided to make a more detailed drawing of it anyway.
If it looks cool, it might be cool, lol
I've been drawing a new comic book - though, it will be the first i'll take to an end.. if I do, sigh..
Anyway, these are some sketches I've been doing for the 3rd and 4th pages
What is it about? ...well, I'm still trying to find that out. Only have some few crazy ideas, but hope to bring something interesting out. I've been trying to do so at least. X')
Meanwhile there's a new comics' contest here in the country(Portugal); i'll check what if I'm interested or not to play that game this year.
Hi there,my name is... uh.. let's call it Kaamuz X')
This - you'll be seeing from today on - is what I do as I am goin through the days. Because much goes on along the process, and the process itself might be interesting itself.
If you have somethingyou want to say about this, be free to share.
